AUC
Message From the SA President
2006-2007

Dear Students,
I am so thankful to new and returning student for choosing Atlantic Union College, the cornerstone of Adventist education.
Our vision this year is to increase school spirit and also the spirit of Christ.  We want students and staff alike to really enjoy and embrace the campus that God has so graciously preserved for so long.  I would love to walk around the campus and see student wearing AUC hats, shirts, sweaters, and the works. I want you to smile when you hear someone mentions AUC and think, “That’s my school, and yeah I go there.” I know AUC has blessed a tremendous amount of people who have moved on to bless others.  But, in order to truly appreciate something you have to be a part of it, take ownership of it, and have influence on it. So I invite you to do all those things and more. This year’s theme is “Make a Commitment.” I challenge you to take charge this year at AUC. Use your resources to make a positive difference on campus. Be a good citizen and represent your school well. Do something for someone else and be a servant leader. Get good grades, respect your teachers, pick up trash, and support the SA event that you pay for. Make a commitment to be the best person you can be. Make a commitment to follow Christ and to love your neighbor as yourself.
On behalf of myself and your elected officers, I pray that your year is blessed academically, financially, and socially. I hope that you have a lot of fun and that you get to know Jesus like you never have before.

Sincerely,
Kirosha C. Huggan
