Atlantic Union College welcomes applicants who have attended other institutions of higher education. Official transcripts must be received in the Office of Academic Records for transfer status to be granted.
- Generally college-level courses will transfer if completed with a C- grade or higher through an accredited institution of higher education.
- Students transferring from junior college may not receive credit for more than 72 semester hours.
- Courses taken at other colleges cannot be used to replace a grade earned in residence.
- AUC will not accept transfer credit for challenge examinations from other colleges.
AUC will not accept remedial courses,
English as a Second Language courses,
basic skills courses, or courses graded
on a Pass/Fail (S/U) basis taken at another college
as transfer credit.
